For the Typoday 2018 Poster Design Challenge, we decided to embrace the challenge of finding the “beauty” within the typeface, Comic Sans.

Creating innovation in finding the beauty within one of the most despised typeface in design history, Comic Sans.

Beauty, Form and Function in Typography.

Experimenting with shape and form, we explored the possibilities to bring forth more of an appeal to its already preconceived notion of being the worst typeface on this planet. Unifying it with a primary color palette and deconstructing its letter form to distort its function and adding in elemental pieces, we were able to bring forth an award-winning Comic Sans Type Specimen Poster.
